Situation
Snow Team is a ski and snowboard school that provides individual and group lessons. Despite very good reviews, many customers were frustrated because they often could not call and get the necessary information, such as training, prices or lesson reservations. As a result, customers were abandoning the school's services and looking elsewhere, where there was better service and access to information.

Task
I was assigned to create a website to enhance customer service and attract new clients. The website needed to have a dynamic personality and its color scheme reflected the winter climate in a contemporary style.

Action
Firstly, I conducted user research to determine important features for the website. Through my findings, it became clear that users wanted to be able to book lessons on the website easily, as well as have access to detailed information regarding instructors, pricing, and opening hours. Additionally, I studied the competition of companies with similar profiles both locally and internationally, with a particular focus on the lesson booking process. Three similar websites were analyzed for their layout, and their findings used to create the information architecture of my product.
The next step was to create low-fidelity mockups that helped me plan the content layout. At this stage, I tested the site with users and received feedback on improvement areas. Furthermore, I worked on the visual aspect of the product. This included choosing typography, suggesting a colour scheme and creating components that helped create a consistent style guide.
With these basics in place, I created a high-fidelity page design. In addition, it offered two clickable prototypes - one showcased an animation on the homepage to encourage people to take advantage of the school's offerings, and the other showed the user's flow when booking lessons online.

Result
The Snow Team ski school website was designed to improve customer service and attract new users. According to a survey, many people appreciated the ability to book lessons online as a unique feature. Equally positive marks were given to the site's information function, which was well received by users thanks to its clear layout and proper information architecture. Nevertheless, it is worth emphasizing that this is a conceptual design.

My reflections
As the sole UX/UI designer, I created a website for a ski and snowboard school. This project taught me the importance of conducting thorough research, analyzing competitors, and understanding user needs in the design process. Additionally, I refined my design skills by defining a visual style for the UI, which encompassed elements such as typography, colour, and patterns.
